Hi Parents,

We are seeking players for our EXTRA program for the upcoming season.

EXTRA is a competitive year-round soccer program designed to provide a more challenging level of play for those players who possess the appropriate interest, skills and abilities and to enhance each player’s experience and individual growth through the game of soccer. Tryouts are in January; Spring season begins in March; Tournaments will be played during the summer; the EXTRA league games start in September. Teams are formed at a Region level.

EXTRA gives athletes whose interests and abilities lead them to a more progressive soccer experience. You can feel secure knowing your child is part of a trusted organization and will be given fair playing time.

The local Region determines the organization of EXTRA play to suit its needs and numbers, but AYSO’s core philosophies are still in place: everyone on the team plays at least 50 percent of each game; selection to teams is based on open and fair evaluations; and the teams are chosen to create a competitive balance.
