Volunteers Needed

AYSO Region 111 is a 100% all volunteer organization. We encourage every parent to help in some part of our program. Prior experience is not required and we will provide the necessary training and equipment. We will begin taking volunteer applications as soon as registration is open.

Volunteer positions include the following:

Head Coach/Assistant Coach
Coaching Staff (Mentors, Instructors, Coordinators)
Division Coordinators (Program Managers/Team Formation)
Referee and Assistant Referee
Referee Staff (Mentors, Assessors, Instructors, Coordinators)
Board Member/Assistant Board Member
Registration (Region Registrar and in-person Registration Event Coordinators)
Field & Equipment Support (Pre-Season Setup, Repair, Maintenance)
Team Managers
Special Events Staff (Opening Day/Picture Day and Volunteer Appreciation Day)

It may become necessary to wait list players while we evaluate the number of TOTAL PLAYERS in the division. Additionally, we must ensure that a sufficient number of VOLUNTEERS have agreed to COACH.

After Dec. 19, 2024, the Cost will be $215 per player.

LAST DAY TO REGISTER FOR SPRING 2025 WILL BE JAN 27, 2025

Additional Fees Added to the Registration Price
$25 National Fee per player is a onetime fee for MY2024.
If you paid it in the Fall of 2024, you will not have to pay it again.

note: MY2024 Year includes Fall 2024, All-Star 2025, Spring 2025

There will also be a $ 2.75 per transaction fee.

We are accepting registration from 5U to 19U.

05U and 06U Combined (Will be listed as 6U) - Non-Coed - Regional Gaming Circuit. ONLY***
07U and 08U Combined (Will be listed as 8U) - Non-Coed - Regional Gaming Circuit. ONLY***
10U - Non-Coed - Will be announced if they play the Regional or Area Gaming Circuit ***
12U - Non-Coed - Will be announced if they play the Regional or Area Gaming Circuit ***
14U - Non-Coed - Will play the Area Gaming Circuit ***
16U - Non-Coed - Area or Section Gaming Circuit ***
19U - Non-Coed - Area or Section Gaming Circuit ***

note: We have combined 5U with 6U and 7U with 8U. This is due to the number of registered players and volunteers that sign up of for the AYSO Spring 2025 Soccer Season.

Practice Location (Historically):

06U - Forster Field 3 (Game and Practice is only on Saturdays)
08U - Forster Field 3
10U - Forster Ranch Community Park
12U - Forster Ranch Community Park
14U - Vista Hermosa 5 or 6
16U - Vista Hermosa 5 or 6
19U - Vista Hermosa 5 or 6

Coaches will let you know the final practice location, dates and time.

*** Game Location will depend on if the Division plays the Area or Regional Gaming Circuit:
Depending on the number of teams that are assembled within San Clemente for the Spring Season will determine if the division plays the Regional or Area Gaming Circuit.

Regional Gaming Circuit:
1. If the division plays the Regional Gaming Circuit, all Home and Away games will be played in the City of San Clemente
Area Gaming Circuit:
1. All Home games will be in San Clemente
2. All Away games will be at one of the local cities: Laguna Niguel, Mission Viejo, Lake Forest, Laguna Beach, San Juan Capistrano, Rancho Santa Margarita, Aliso Viejo, Laguna Hills, Ladera Ranch, Rancho Mission Viejo
3. Format of play for Area: The program is run by AYSO Area 11L and they determine the format. Typically, teams are submitted to area with initial “best guess” seeding (ratings). The first half of the season is known as the seeding round. Usually, teams will play a certain number of games during the seeding round. After the seeding around, the teams are “re-seeded” by Area staff to create a balance level of play for the medal round or the second half the season.

AYSO Spring 2025 ***Register to Play***

Our program is the foundation for all the fun, excitement and learning that happens on the fields. AYSO is best known for our core program – it’s where the large majority of kids fall in love with soccer and make memories that will last a lifetime.

There are six core values – or what we call AYSO’s Six Philosophies – that are the foundation of our programs: Everyone Plays, Balanced Teams, Open Registration, Positive Coaching, Good Sportsmanship and Player Development. These are the essence of AYSO.

In AYSO, teams are put together in a way that makes playing soccer about the experience, not wins or losses. It’s not about blowing out another team with an unbelievable score; it’s about sportsmanship and learning to be the best possible teammate and opponent. Developing players is what we’re about, because soccer skills and life skills go hand in hand. AYSO’s main purpose is to get kids on the field, provide them with great coaches, and teach them to play soccer.
